We are busily engaged in development and validation work funded by a Phase I SBIR grant from USDA titled "Lactation Modeling Tools and Information Base for Dairy Herd Management and Research". Results have been excellent, and will be published soon.
For Phase II, we hope to make
MilkBot® services
available to selected researchers for projects of their own choosing.
We anticipate knowing whether this will be funded by June,
2009. If funded, we will be requesting proposals for cooperative
projects using
MilkBot® technology.
MilkBot® is under continuing development by Jim Ehrlich, D.V.M. Please contact Dr. Ehrlich personally with requests for MilkBot® processing of your data files, inquiries about consulting services, inquiries about licensing MilkBot® technology, or about training in lactation curve analysis.
